Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she studied the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her funds. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces.
